Synopsis of the course (this course willbe given in French):
Theparticipants will learn about the four basic components of beer (Barley, Hops,Yeast & Water). They will get tosee, smell and taste samples of some of these ingredients. They will learn therole of each component in the final product and on how their roles affect thetaste and balance of a beer.
Theparticipants will have the chance to taste four different types of micro-brewedbeer during the course. Each beer willbe tasted throughout the course to learn how to recognize the differentcomponents. They will also learn about balanced taste and distinguishingfeatures for the different styles. Participation from the group will be encouraged.
